Back in the saddle (Ben)

Well, after a long weekend of cheat food, I return to the norm. My biggest problem is not having a written out menu plan for the week…. along with no one to truly get after me if I skip the gym. I need to figure out an incentive plan for myself to keep me motivated.

As for today, I got out and did chest and triceps at the gym. I was quite happy that I was able to get my buddy Ron to spot for me on the chest press… I did 2 sets of 5 at the end with 125lbs. That may not be a ton… but for me, I’m quite impressed. I did get there late, tho… so my workout was truncated to 35 minutes, instead of 50+ minutes. Nevertheless, I had a good sweat going, and took myself to the point of failure by the end of each exercise.

I did more Beverly Int. Ultra Size shake when I got home, popped all my normal supplements, and headed to work. I ate some trail mix around 10am, and had some good chicken lunch meat marinated in buffalo sauce with colby jack cheese slices. I decided to give it a go and see how an afternoon shake does for me, so I brought a sealed cup with 2 scoops of Ultra Size in it. Hopefully it will mix up well enough in the cup. I’m so spoiled with my bullet mixer at home.

I have another birthday party to go to tonight. Must…. apply….. restraint….. Hopefully they’ll have coffee…. it always gets me by when I skip sweets. We shall see.
